David Beckham

I'm still on vacation so I'm not updating the brflines website. But I'm still sending pictures to the brieflines yahoo group (link to the left)! The one attached to this post is one of three that were sent to the group.

Remember to click the link and join the group to get brfline photos that don't make it to my website.

Best wishes for a happy new year!

Check It Out!

Hey boys, I'm back from vacation! Even though I haven't made any new content updates to my brflines site, I am still posting new pictures on the yahoo brieflines group.

I do like to collect any kind of line pics, but the website I maintain only covers tennis brieflines for now. So, if you want hot pics like the one above, you need to check out the group!

Happy Holidays!

Tommy Robredo

I LOVE Tommy Robredo. There I said it...:)

I like him so much more than any other player currently on the ATP. I don't know what it is, maybe the beautiful eyes or the bangin' ass :0P. Obviously, I have truly made an effort to find every breifline photo of him available on the net.

Today, I posted ten more (nos. 81 to 90) on my main brflines site. One of the pictures included in the BIG ROBREDO UPDATE is attached to this post.

Other than that, I'm off for the holidays. Updates will be more sporadic. Enjoy!

Rainer Schuettler

Rainer Schuttler of Germany was added today to the main brflines website. Three pictures of him are included in his debut. One of the pictures is very nice, but non-brieflines related. I thought I'd throw it in as a special holiday treat to you all.

One of the briefline-related pictures that debuted with his page is attached to this post.

Olivier Rochus

Two pictures of Olivier Rochus (Belgium) were added today on the brflines website. Sorry about the traffic limitations. I host all of the pictures on another site as to minimize the amount of file space I have on the brflines site, but it still freezes up on occasion. I'm in the process of retreiving all my picture urls as a backup and to potentially move them to another free site. If you have any suggestions for the latter, please let me know.

Anyway, enjoy the update boys.

Lukasz Kubot

Lukas Kubot of Poland was added to the brflines site today. The only picture of him that I have is attached to this post.

In the near future, you'll be seeing Carlos Barlocq, Juan Ignacio Chela, Andy Murray, Paradorn Srichiphan, and Ranier Schuettler added to brflines.

As the holidays approach, I'm not going to be making new posts every day as usual. I'll be doing some travelling, but the site will be posted as much as I am able to until the beginning of the next year when I am back on a regular schedule.

Happy Holidays!

Tommy Haas

Tommy Haas was the picture update on brflines today. He's from Germany and he's grreatt! Attached is one of two photos that were added to his page this evening.

Enjoy the updates guys :0)

Michal Mertinak

Michal Mertinak is the player update to the brflines website today. I also changed the main picture from the cosmo uk pic of Tommy Robredo to one I had of another Spaniard, Alex Corretja.

I don't know too much about Mertinak, but I'm fairly certain he's the first Slovakian on the brflines site.

Enjoy!

Fernando Verdasco

Good morning!

The brflines website, specifically the page for Fernando Verdasco, underwent a big update with an addition of twenty pictures! I think that is the most pictures I've ever added to one page at one time. One of the pictures included in the update is attached to this post (above).

Fernando has a rabid following, which is good for me because they all take pictures :). Anyway, enjoy the update, boys and girls.

Fabio Fognini

Fabio Fognini was added to the brflines site this morning.

Like many of the players that I'm adding to the site, I know nothing about him. Since I've pretty much added all of the elite players (Roddick, Federer, Djokovic) to the site, any new player addition will probably be an up-and-coming player like Fognini.

His page has four pictures on it, one of which is attached to this post. Enjoy!

Notoriety

Well the secret's out! Thanks to other blogs (especially gay+mens+underwear blog), viewership on my main site and on this blog have taken off! The graph above are page loads for this blog for the last fourteen days.

Even the girls are starting to look as evidenced by a post at tennis world. I can't discern yet whether this is a good thing or bad--the comments are pretty neutrel.

One of the funniest referring pages is in Japanese (link). I tried to run a translation through babelfish, but it still didn't makes sense. So if anyone can read Japanese, let me know what it says!

Peace!

Allez Richard!

Hey boys, there's been a HUGE update to the Richard Gasquet page on the brflines site. I added eighteen (!) pictures to his page. One of the pictures included in the update has been attached to this blog entry.

Richie is a huge favorite in the Y! brieflines group page and it's not hard to see why. His butt is perfect! :oP

Enjoy!

Almost Famous

Erwin Ong, editor of Tennis Served Fresh, wrote me this past week to let me know that he mentioned the brflines site on his blog! Woot!

If you want to check out the entry, click here.

Break in Updates

Hey boys.

I'm going to be at a conference today and tomorrow. Accordingly, there are no planned updates to the brflines site until Monday, unless I have extra time over the weekend.

I've attached a picture of Jarkko Nieminen to this post that got a great reaction when I sent it out to the membership of the Y! Brieflines group.

Have a nice, safe weekend everyone. :)

Juan Monaco

Juan Monaco of Argentina was added to the brflines site this morning. This is one of four pictures that are up with the new page for him.

Enjoy the update boys!

Going Global!

I just checked the stats for the blog at statcounter.com...brflines has gone global!

By far, the most visits from a single country was from the US. I very much expected this since my blog is in English and the blog host is American (I think...). I was very surprised though to see how many other visitors were from outside the US. Wow! Who would have thought? I've attached a map from statcounter which indicates where the most recent visitors who surfed this blog were from.

If you can't make out where the little bubbles are pointing to, here's a text list:

  • Denmark
  • The Netherlands
  • The United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Singapore
  • Spain
  • Australia
  • Poland
  • Turkey
  • Switzerland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Malasia
  • Cyprus
  • Georgia
  • Japan
  • Brazil
  • Thailand
  • The Philippines
  • Portugal
  • Argentina

Novak Djokovic

Holy Nole!

A mega-update of thirteen (!) pictures was added to Novak Djokovic's page on my main site. His page now has sixty-six pictures on it. Most of the pictures from today's update were taken at the Roger's Cup in Montreal. One of the pics from the update is attached to this post.

I love Novak Djokovic (or Nole as fans call him). He has a fun-loving personality and is beautiful to look at. He also loves to wear white shorts which, and as an avid line-lover, I love because white shorts + sweat=brief lines. :)

Enjoy the update!

Gaston Gaudio

Gaston Gaudio was added to my main brieflines site today. He won the French Open a couple of years ago. He's part of a group of very successful Argentine players including David Nalbandian and Juan Ignacio Chela.

I hope you enjoy this update! Later!

Other Lines

I don't usually update my main site on the weekends. This weekend is no different.

I do spend the weekends looking for pictures to add to my site. However, with the tennis season coming to an end, they will be harder and harder to find at least until the Australian Open begins.

I did find some super hot briefline pics of some decathletes. I emailed them to the Brieflines Y!Group. These won't make it to my site so if you want to see what you missed (I've attached one of the ones I sent to the group), join up!

Whoa Tommy!

I didn't make any player or photo updates to my main brieflines site today. Rather, I spent time updating the drop down menus on the individual player's pages so that one could surf from page to page without having to go through the index everytime they wanted to see a different player.

I also did a survey of how many pictures I had on the site...619! That's six hundred pictures of tennis player hotness! Tommy Robredo (pictured above) has eighty pictures posted (and more than ten more awaiting my next update).

The ten players with the most photos are:

6. Mario Ancic (23)
7. Andy Roddick (22)
10. Marat Safin (19)

I have over 74 players on the site with at least one picture of each player's brieflines.

Of the ten listed above, I would say that Robredo, Djokovic, Gasquet, Niminen, and Ancic are my favorites. Who are your favorites?

Thomas Johannson

Thomas Johannson from Sweden is today's photo update on my main brieflines site. Four pictures were added to his page (nos. 15-18).

I saw him play Andy Roddick on television earlier this year, I believe at the US Open. He, unfortunately, didn't do so well.

I love looking for Thomas Johannson pics on the internet. Although pics of him are relatively difficult to to find because he's not a top ten player, he does wear white a lot, meaning that when I do find a picture of him, there's usually a briefline.

Anyway, enjoy the update.

Nicolas Mahut

Nicolas Mahut of France is today's player update. A link to his page was added to the main brflines site this morning at 9:30, US Central time.

Sadly, I have only one picture of Nicolas. It is attached to this post. If you have any more please send them to me at: brflines@yahoo.com

Thanks guys!

Jarkko Nieminen (blog only update)

Today's update is only going up on the blog (as opposed to my main site). It is a short clip I made from a match between Jarkko Nieminen (one of my faves) and Roger Federer in Halle earlier this year.

I'm only adding it to my blog because I had issues with uploading it to my rapidshare account. Once I've resolved those issues, the link on Jarkko's page to his rapidshare folder will include this clip as well.

Marat Safin

Marat Safin's page on my main brieflines site has been updated with four photos (nos. 16-19). The above picture is one of the ones included in today's photo update.

I used to love Marat Safin. I thought he looked like a movie star (I don't recall which one) and then he grew his hair long, ugh. That's a huge pet peeve of mine, when players have long, unkempt hair...it's just not my thing. The Spaniards all seem to do this at some point in their career (e.g., Ferrero, Robredo, Nadal). I don't think it's cute at all.

But now his hair is short again, so he's back in my good graces :0) lol. Also a couple of years ago, he seems to have switched to trunks, but I've seen a couple of recent pics where he's wearing briefs. At least it seems like he's mixing it up.

Anyway, enjoy the update guys!

Pete Sampras (Add or No?)

A recent email I received from the Yahoo! brieflines group reminded me that I had three briefline pictures of Pete Sampras on the thumb drive that I keep all my pictures on.

Initially, I hesitated to add him to the main brieflines site because of the narrow focus of the site--briefline pictures of current players on the atp tour. Posting photos of sportsmen that don't meet that criteria would open doors that would mean that I would need to put much more effort into the site then I have time for.

I did love watching Pete Sampras on televesion when I was growing up. He was a great player and a great person in general. So, I'll leave it up to you guys to tell me whether you want him added to the main site or not.

Paul Henri Mathieu

Paul Henri Mathieu of France is today's player update to my Brieflies Site. His page has six pictures on it.

He has a really cute smile in his atp photo. Again, I haven't seen an entire match of his so I can't speak to his skill, but he is very good looking to me.

The picture above is one of six that is currently on his page.

Enjoy!

Roger Federer

The photo update for today to my brieflines site is Roger Federer. Four new photos were added to his page (pics. nos. 13-16). I've attached one of the photos from the update to the blog :)

There is no question about Roger's skills. He is undoubtedly the best player in the game today, if not ever. I know there are tons of briefline photos for Roger out there, but I've never found him super attractive so I haven't made the same kind of effort to find them like I have for other players that I'm really into (e.g., Tommy Robredo, Jarkko Nieminen, and Novak Djokovic).

Like Coria, I think I have email pics of him archived somewhere, which I'll dig up in time. But enjoy the update for today!!

Richard Gasquet

Hey boys, I've been tinkering around with video downloads of tennis matches. I've previously posted clips on my main site, but those have all been from dvds.

The benefit of doing them from downloads is that there are more matches available and they're usually free. Matches that can be downloaded are also usually from people outside of the US, so you can get videos featuring players you don't usually see on the major networks or espn.

The downside to some of the videos that you can download is that they're usually of poorer quality. The downloads are also usually full matches. But I've been trying out a new splitter software to get briefline clips into smaller clips.

You can download the clip (wimby 2007) here.

Let me know if you want more clips like this one!

Guillermo Coria

The player update for today is Guillermo Coria. He's from Argentina and used to be really good a year or two ago. I've attached the only briefline pic of him that I have to this post.

I have other briefline pics of Guillermo buried in the several email accounts that used to be associated withe the Y! brieflines group from time to time, but those will be saved for a photo update.

Enjoy!

Mark Knowles

Today's update is Mark Knowles. I've never seen him play, so I can't say much except that he looks great :). I've attached one of two pictures that were included in the update on my main site.
