Edouard is one of my favorite players. I just find him adorable. It's kind of hard to find brieflines pics of him because he's not a top 10 player and he's kind of young and obscure.
But lately, they've been easier to come by. I added six new ones of him to the site.
Here's a list of the ten tennis players with the most photos on the brflines site as of the end of May. The number in the parentheses next to a players name indicates the number of photos on the site.
1. Tommy Robredo (268) 2. Novak Djokovic (245) 3. Fernando Verdasco (218) 4. Richard Gasquet (211) 5. Rafael Nadal (165) 6. Feliciano Lopez (127) 7. Roger Federer (115) 8. Juan Carlos Ferrero (114) 9. Andy Roddick (84) 10. Mario Ancic (76)
Not much changed from April, except for Feli Lopez leapfrogging over Roger Federer to take sixth.
The next ten players waiting in the wings to join the top 10 are: Jarkko Nieminen, Marat Safin, David Ferrer, Paul Hanri Mathieu, Dmitry Tursunov, Fernando Gonzalez, Thomas Johansson, Julien Benneteau, Ivan Ljubicic, and Tommy Haas.
Hey guys. I added eight new pics of Marin Cilic to his page on the brflines site.
I wish there were more out there, but it looks like this may be his breakout year after a great run at the Oz Open. So with more cameras trained on Marin, I expect that more pictures will become available.
A fan requested more pics of Michael Owen, and being the obliging blog owner, I said, "of course." So two more of adorable Mr. Owen were added to the brflines site.
Someone went totally crazy at the Sony Ericsson open in Key Biscane this year and took a whole lot of pictures of Santi Giraldo and Thomaz Bellucci (update forthcoming). I'm happy to share the product of that photog's obsession.
I added eleven new pics of Giraldo to his page on the brflines site.
Everytime I come across the name Maximo Gonzalez, I laugh like a little japanese school girl. Doesn't his name make him sound like some kind of mediterranean transformer (the robot, not the electrical part)?
Anyway, I added a new pic of him to the brflines site.
I must have skipped over a Stefan Koubek some time ago because when his name came up in the queue, I realized that he had four new pics waiting to be added to the brflines site.
Now, four pics is no big deal for a Tommy Robredo or Fernando Verdasco update, but, these four pics effectively tripled the amount of pics of Stefan Koubek available on the brflines site (from two to six).
So enjoy these new pics guys and have a nice, safe day.
Hi guys. Just a quick post about today's small update.
I'm not saying "small" because the focus of today's update is Fabrice Santoro (even though he is really short). Rather, it's because I've only got one new picture to add.
Before I write about today's addition to the sidelines section, I'd like to thank everyone who's ever commented on the blog posts or sent me emails encouraging me to continue to post. I love getting feedback and it's super motivating for me to know that someone is actually looking at the family of brflines sites and groups that I manage.
Anyway, I've added young Frenchman, Antoine Griezmann to the brflines site today. And when I say young, I mean he's barely legal :). He plays for Real Sociedad of La Liga.
