Alex Bogdanovic

Alex is Great Britain's #2 player, after Andy Murray, of course. That's what they said during the Wimbledon simulcast on ESPN 360.

That's a precipitous drop off, from world #3 too world #one hundred and something. But, Alex is terrific because he always wears colored briefs under his white shorts!.

I added two new pics of him to the brflines site. I hope you guys enjoy :0)

Marcos Baghdatis

Can anyone tell me why my Marcos Baghdatis is so lacking?

Anyway, here's my attempt to remedy the situation. I added seven new pics of Marcos to his page on the brflines site, which increased the amount of pictures by 400% Love it!

Julien Benneteau

It's kind of weird how my updates are clustered geographically. Sometimes I'll do a bunch of Spanish updates and sometimes, like now, I'll do a bunch of French updates. These pics of Julien Benneteau will be the fourth French player in the last seven days.

Not that I'm complaining. I'm just saying it's weird how these things turn out.

Anywho, I added three new pics of Mssr. Benneteau to his page on the brflines site. I hope you like.

Michael Llodra

Well, it's offical kids. We've lost another one to the dark side. I was watching the tennis channel the other day, and there was a bag check featuring Michael Llodra.

In it he pulls out a pair of Bjorn Borg trunks and says that its his underwear. Too bad. There are still brieflines pics of Michael out there and I'll do my best to track them down. I added eleven new ones to his page...

Oh and if you're interested, here's a link to the video page for the tennis channel. You scroll down to bag check and you can watch it for yourself.

Cheers!

Bernard Tomic

Hello everyone. I added a new page to the brflines site this morning.

This new page is for Australian youngster, Bernard Tomic. I hope we get to see more of him in the coming years on the tour.

I hope that everyone has an enjoyable Monday.

Restoration

So, as I was doing my profile picture update, I noticed in the googlepages directory that the page for Nicolas Kiefer had gone missing!

I was like WTF, because in the page code for the tennis player index, he was still there and it linked to a live page.

Turns out the page was for Denis Gremelmayr, so I must've overwritten Nicolas's page when I copied it to create a new one for Denis.

So, good news, Nicolas Kiefer lovers, his page has been restored. Enjoy!

Profile Pic Changes (Again)

I don't understand what's going on over at IT and marketing for the ATP. A couple of weeks after they update their profile pics, only to update the pictures again a couple of days ago!

And the fangrrrls over at the MTF hate them! They think that they look like mug shots or photos of serial killers.

I for one, don't understand them in general. I guess I get the whole idea of butching up the photos to make them look more fierce to appeal to a younger, more aggressive audience. But really? Most of them make the players look bad.

Some were so bad (Lleyton Hewitt, for example) that I didn't bother switching them out. The ones I did swap were:

Igor Andreev
James Blake
Simone Bolelli
Maric Cilic
Nikolay Davydenko
Novak Djokovic
Fernando Gonzalez
Ernests Gulbis
Nicolas Kiefer
Feliciano Lopez
Andy Murray
Rafa Nadal
Jarkko Nieminen
Gilles Simon
Radek Stepanek
Dmitry Tursunov
Nando Verdasco
Mikhail Youzhny.

Top 10 for July

Hey guys, here's the top ten list for the month of July.

Novak managed to establish some breathing room between himself and Tommy Robredo. But Tommy's still wearing briefs and Novak isn't so, it's just a matter of months before Novak gets passed.

Richy's off of his suspension for banned substances, so I suspect the pictures will be coming in again.

Rafa and Roger are mounting strong charges as they go for 100 pics apiece.

The top ten are as follow:

1. Novak Djokovic (200)
2. Tommy Robredo (180)
3. Richard Gasquet (166)
4. Fernando Verdasco (140)
5. Rafael Nadal (88)
6. Roger Federer (82)
7. Jarkko Nieminen (67)
8. Marat Safin (66)
9. Andy Roddick (64)
10. Mario Ancic (63)

The next ten are: Feliciano Lopez, Paul Henri Mathieu, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Thomas Johansson, David Ferrer, Tim Henman, Max Mirnyi, Stanislas Wawrinka, Julien Benneteau, Lleyton Hewitt.

Nikolay Davydenko

Dobray ootra! That's how you say good morning in Russian (I took it at the university). And it is a good morning with a brflines update for Nikolay Davydenko.

I added seven new pics of Kolya to his page on the site.

Da svedanya (goodbye)!!.

I added eight pics of Fabrice to his page on the brflines site. I hope you like it.

Mathieu Montcourt

I was very sad to hear the news of Mathieu's passing.

So, I will not make any commentary except to say that I added two pics to his page and will celebrate the life and accomplishments of a young tennis star.

Thanks.

Eh, I thought I had just done a David Ferrer post, but I guess it has been a couple of months.

This means that it's time for another one!! I added ten new pics of David to the brflines site. Hot!!

Teimuraz Gabashvili

Hi guys, I added a new page to the brflines site this morning.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the new page is for up and coming player Teimuraz Gabashvili from Russia.

I don't have too much more to say than that besides hoping that you enjoy the pics.

Peace!

Tomas Berdych

Hey, how much better is Tomas Berdych playing and looking nowadays?

I never understood why the fangrrrls get into a tizzy about Tomas on the MTF board. I guess I give as much respect to their game as their looks, and Tomas came up short on both ends for me, but after this Wimbledon, I'm a convert!

So, I added six new pics of Tomas to the brflines site. You should definitely go check them out.

Cheers!

Tim Henman

So. Even though the torch has passed to Andy Murray, and despite the fact that he's retired, I'm still finding Tim shots out there.

What a shame that he went into retirement. I certainly enjoyed watching him. Oh well, I guess it's better to do it whilst you are on top of the world rather than beign a laughing stock.

I added three new shots of Tim to his page on the brflines site. That's it, enjoy!

Rafa Nadal

And now it's time for another Rafael Nadal megapost on the brflines site.

I added twenty three new pics of Rafa to the site. That's a huge upload of pics. You need to go look at them!

Ernests Gulbis

Poor Ernie, he did so well, but this year, not so much.

While I was watching Wimbledon this year, the color commentary during the Murray-Gulbis was a little critical of Gulbis and how he's fallen off since last year.

I just wanted to grab the mic and bop both of them over the head. No one talks about my Ernie that way :)

Anyway, some luscious new photos of Ernests now avail. Check them out!

More Profile Picture Updates

Hey guys, just a quick note that I switched out the profile pictures for six tennis players on the brflines site.

Looks like the ATP is retooling the pictures for its major players. The last big update included Novak, Roger, and Rafa. This updates includes Thomaz Bellucci, David Ferrer, Richy Gasquet, PHM, Tommy Robredo, and Stan Wawrinka.

Thank goodness Tommy took a good picture this time around. The other one made him look emaciated. But, too bad for Stan, his skin looks terrible in this pic. Oh well!

Alejandro Falla

Hey guys, I added a new tennis player to the brflines site this morning.

His name is Alejandro Falla and he's from Columbia. I've attached one of the pics from his new page to this blog post. I hope you guys like it.

Thanksssss.

Stanislas Wawrinka

Hi guys, I made an update to the brflines site this morning.

I added nine new pictures of Stan Wawrinka to the site, so hopefully you'll enjoy them.

Bye!

Jeremy Chardy

What is it about France that produces so many hot players? Is it the air, the water, or...?

Jeremy Chardy is one of those young up and coming players. With his continued success, he'll join the rank of tennis hotties like Richy Gasquet, Julien Benneteau, and Michael Llodra.

:) :)

Simone Bolelli

Hi guys, I added some new pictures to the brflines site this morning.

The new pics are of Simone Bolelli and there are four of them now available. So go check them out now!

It's for Dusan Vemic of Serbia. Only one pic, so it's attached to this blog post. Thanks.

Sidelines: Cristiano Ronaldo

Hi guys, I made an update to Cristiano Ronaldo's page on the brflines/sidelines section this morning.

Apparently he just made the richest deal in the world to transfer to Real Madrid. Good for him.

I hope the white unis that yield so many good briefline pictures of Real Madrid players will also be as productive for Ronaldo :)

Guillermo Canas

This morning, I added four new pics of Guillermo Canas to the brflines site.

Nothing more to add except well wishes and a sincere hope that you love the pics!

Ciao!

Have a good one!

Changes are a-comin'

Hey guys, I did a big update on the profile pictures for the players on the brflines site.

The following players have new profile pics (thanks ATP!):

-Jose Acasuso
-Mario Ancic
-Igor Andreev
-Thomaz Bellucci
-Julien Benneteau
-Tomas Berdych
-James Blake
-Simone Bolelli
-Marin Cilic
-Arnaud Clement
-Nikolay Davydenko
-Novak Djokovic
-Lukas Dlouhy
-Roger Federer
-Fernando Gonzalez
-Ernests Gulbis
-Mark Knowles
-Igor Kunitsyn
-Feliciano Lopez
-Nicolas Mahut
-Oliver Marach
-Albert Montanes
-Andy Murray
-Rafa Nadal
-Jarkko Nieminen
-Andy Roddick
-Florent Serra
-Gilles Simon
-Radek Stepanek
-Viktor Troicki
-Jo-Wilfried Tsonga
-Jiri Vanek
-Fernando Verdasco

The new profile pics fall into three categories (roughly): good, bad, and weird.

For the good, Tomas Berdych, Ernests Gulbis, Andy Murray, Jarkko Nieminen, and Viktor Troicki all got upgraded with their new pics. Berdych looks like a man now, so does Gulbis. Seriously, does Jarkko ever take a bad face picture? And Viktor doesn't look so acne-ridden now.

The new pics that fall into the bad category include Lukas Dlouhy, Feliciano Lopez, Andy Roddick and Fernando Verdasco. Poor Andy is quickly losing the battle against his receding hairline. Nando looks like Frankenstein in his new pic.

And finally, the weird, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer. I don't know if it has to do with the "space/galactic" theme of the new ATP site, but the pictures look all futuristic, or at least too glittery.

That's it for now!
