Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi

Today's update is the addition of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi to the brflines site.

I believe he's the first Pakistani on the site. Hopefully, I'll be able to track down more pics. I hope you guys like and have a happy new year!!

Michal Mertinak (Yesterday's Update)

Hey guys, I've had multiple mini-crises for the last couple of days, some personal, some to do with the blog/site.

It seems like a quarterly event, but my flash drive got wiped out again. NEVER let your friends have access to your computer. They'll rip out your flash drive without the safe removal feature, and voila, hundres of megabytes of pictures gone.

Luckily, I backed up the drive on another hard drive on Sunday, so I only had a couple days of work to try and pull together. Unfortunately, I had gone on a picture hunt in the interim period when I didn't back up, so I don't know if I'll be able to backtrack and find those pics that were lost again.

Anyway, I did make an update yesterday, but the flash drive got pulled, betweent he site update and blog post, so I never got around to writing about it until today. I added one pic of Michal Mertinak to his site yesterday. Enjoy!

New Poll: 2009's Break Through

Who Will Breakthrough in 2009?

2009 saw the emergence of several new stars on the tour. Although none of the men mentioned above challenged Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic for dominance, they served notice that perhaps they were the next generation of dominant players.

Who will break through in 2009 and translate their potential into rankings. Vote for the player that you think will make the largest jump in their ranking from the year ending 2008 to the year ending 2009. Consider the following players:

1. Juan Martin del Potro (Argentina, 2008 Ranking: 9). Juan Martin did well in the end of summer stretch, winning tournaments like the Legg Mason in Washington, DC and going deep into the U.S. Open.

2. Gilles Simon (France, 2008 Ranking: 7) Like Juan Martin, Gilles Simon turned it on towards the end of the season winning Indy and reaching the finals of the Madrid Masters.

3. Andy Murray (UK, 2008 Ranking: 4) Andy has routinely been able to hang with the big boys, like Roddick and Federer, but has not managed to make the push into the top three. Will this be the year for Andy to take Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic’s place as an elite player on the tour?

4. Jo Wilfried Tsonga (France, 2008 Ranking: 6) The Australian Open was Jo Wilfried Tsonga’s coming out party, as he made it all the way to the finals only to lose to Novak. He also won the Paris Masters Tournament later in the year.

5. Fernando Verdasco (Spain, 2008 Ranking: 16) Fernando was one of the heroes of this year’s Davis Cup final versus Argentina, when the Spanish team went into Mar de Plata, Argentina and held off the Argentines to take the cup. He also won Umag, Croatia this year.

6. Stanislas Wawrinka (Switzerland, 2008 Ranking: 13) Stan got off to a quick start this year, winning Doha and Rome. Will he be able to sustain throughout the 2009 season?

Vote and let your voice be heard!!

Mario Ancic

Hey guys, good morning. I made another update to the brflines site this morning.

It's another rather large-ish update of Mario Ancic's page. Six new pics were posted on it. Mario likes to wear the little bikini underwear, it seems, so if you're into that (I know I am), you should probably go check it out.

Have a good one!

Paul Henri Mathieu

Hey guys, just checking in today to tell you about the update I made to the brflines site earlier this afternoon.

I added a couple of new pics to the Paul Henri Mathieu page on the site. Tell me how much you love Paul Henir (or if you're a fangrrl, Paulo).

Take care!

Fernando Verdasco

Hi guys. Just checking in quickly to tell you about the update I made to the brflines site this morning.

Jordan Kerr

Hey guys, good morning. I hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas.

Unfortunately, Tommy Robredo didn't show up in just the christmas bow, so I wouldn't say that I got **everything** that I wanted, but Christmas was pretty decent for me.

Anyway, I added a new page to the brflines site for Jordan Kerr from Australia. Like a lot of my recent additions, Jordan is a relatively unknown, but come on, you have to love that profile pic. He looks totally smug in it, and I love it!!

Just one pic for Jordan which is also attached to the blog post.

I hope everyone has a great day and keep warm!!

Ta!

December's Top 10

Time for another Top 10!!

The feature this month has to go to (Super) Mario Ancic. Mario skyrockted to sixth place from tenth.

The rest of the list is as follows:

1. Novak Djokovic (176 photos)
2. Tommy Robredo (137 photos)
3. Richard Gasquet (136 photos)
4. Fernando Verdasco (87 photos)
5. Jarkko Nieminen (63 photos)
6. Mario Ancic (55 photos)
7. Roger Federer (49 photos)
8. Andy Roddick (48 photos)
T9. Thomas Johansson (38 photos)
T9. Marat Safin (38 photos)

Also, the number two spot has been retaken by Tommy Robredo, who has a one picture advantage over Richard Gasquet.

Fernando Verdasco will be catching up as well, I've got some pictures of him that will definitely have him gaining ground on Richard and Tommy.

See ya guys later!

Max Mirnyi

M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S everyone! My gift to you, another update to the brflines site (I know you get those gifts almost everyday, but hey, we're in a recession).

So, I also have the day off, which is pretty awesome because it lets me catch up on all of those court shows (e.g., Judge Judy, People's Court) that I've been missing out on because of full-time employment. Also, I get to catch up on the awesome show called Cheaters.

Anyway, back to tennis. I added three new pics of Max Mirnyi to his page on the site. I hope you like them. Take care and have a very happy holiday.

Feli Lopez

Hey guys, it's almost Christmas here in Chicago!! Are we excited?

Hell's yes. I know I'm probably not going to get what I really want (Tommy Robredo in just a christmas bow) but a boy can dream can't he?

Anyway, I made an update earlier today, but blogger was going bananas on me, so I had to wait until now to find another time when I could type up the blog. So the update is three new pics of Feli Lopez on his page on the brflines site.

Someone (I don't remember who) said that Feli Lopez is "more than just a pretty face". Uh, I've seen him play, let's keep it real :0), he's a good looking guy, let's leave it at that.

Nicolas Massu

Hey guys. Good morning. I made an update to the brflines site this morning.

I added two new pics of Chilean player, Nicolas Massu. I hope everyone is having an awesome holiday season thus far!

See ya.

Daniel Nestor

The second update for the day is the addition of a single picture of Daniel Nestor.

Not much to say about it. So, I'll just leave it at that and give all of you my best, warmest wishes for the day.

Ciao
!

Flavio Cipolla

Another double post day, guys. Sorry about not making an update to the brflines site or a post to the blog yesterday.

I was busy doing all of that last minute shopping for Christmas and all of that good stuff. Anyway, to make up for it, I'm doing two updates and posts today.

The first is the addition of Flavio Cipolla, an Italian player, to the brflines site.

Jarkko Nieminen

Hey boys. I made an update to the brflines site today.

I added four new pics of Jarkko Niemenin to the site this afternoon.

Jarkko is one of my favorites and I'm hoping he'll have a great year next year on the tour.

Jonas Bjorkman

The second post for today is Jonas Bjorkman.

Just one pic of him to add to the brflines site. He officially retured at the Shanghai Masters, so I don't know how many more pics we'll get out the guy, but I'm personally sad to see him go.

Diego Hartfield

Hey guys, sorry about not making a post yesterday. I just ran out of time.

So I'm doing two today to keep myself on track to make thirty by the end of the month. The first update is to Diego Hartfield's page on the brflines site. I added two pics fo the Argentine player, one of which is attached to this post.

Keep warm!

David Ferrer

Hi guys. This morning I added two new pics to the brflines site.

They are of David Ferrer of Spain. He was part of the heroic Davis Cup squad that went into Argentina and snatched the cup from the home team.

Keep warm!

Fernando Verdasco

Good morning, men. I'm writing to tell you about the update I made this morning to the brflines site.

I added eleven new pics to Fernando Verdasco's page on the site. You should probably go to the website to check them out!

Monday, December 15, 2008

Victor Crivoi

Hey guys, just a quick post to tell you about the update to the brflines site for the day.

I added a new player page for Victor Crivoi of Romania. That's it! Just one pic for starters but will be on the look out. Check him out.

Dmitry Tursunov Vid Clip

And my update for today is a video clip of Dmitry Tursunov in his match against Tommy Haas in this year's Championships at Wimbledon.

He's clearly wearing dark colored trunks or briefs under his shorts. This blonde god is pretty hot. I hope you guys like the clip.

Dmitry Tursunov

Ciao!!

Agustin Calleri

My update for yesterday is the addition of one pic for Agustin Calleri.

There's no need to check out the site (unless you want to see 1600 other pics of brieflines pictures) since I'm posting the one along with this blogpost.

I hope everyone had a chill weekend....

1600

Guys, I forgot to note that with the Kolya Davydenko post, the brflines site has reached 1,600 photos.

It's been a blast and totally worthwhile. I hope to continue for a long time!

Kolya Davydenko

Hi guys. I made an update to the brflines site today.

I added a new picture of Nikolay Davydenko to his page on the site. Nikolay is difficult to get brieflines photos of because he's so skinny and he usually wears dark, baggy shorts. So every pic is valuable!

Roger Federer

Although his star is fading somewhat, Roger Federer is still a force to be reckoned with.

I added a nice new pic of him to the brflines site this morning. I know I have more, but I've been really swamped lately, so have just been feeding off of what's readily available to me. Sorry!

Filippo Volandri Vid Clip

Second post for the day: a new vid clip!

This one is of Italian cutie, Filippo Volandri. Although he hasn't done super well, he's still smokin' hot.

I know his sponsor is Armani. You may notice that there's a small metal plaque on the back of his shorts, I guess that's the kind of detail you get when a high fashion company provides you with your gear.

Filippo Volandri

Mathieu Montcourt

Good morning, guys. I made an update to the brflines site.

I added two pictures of Mathieu Montcourt to his page on the site. I hope you guys like them. Ciao!

I made some vid clips of Thomas Johansson for you guys.

They're from his Olympic doubles match against the Swiss Duo of Wawrinka/Federer.

I made clips of Thomas in the first, second, and fourth sets. Hope you like!

Set 4

Julian Knowle

Hey guys, I made an update to the brflines site this morning.

I added two pics of Austrian player, Julian Knowle, to the site.

I also made a couple of vid clips which I'll describe in my next post.

Enjoy!
