Super Mario (Ancic)

Five pictures were added to the Mario Ancic page of the brflines website. One of the pictures included in the update is attached to this post.

Tall and gangly, Mario always obliges with out of the world brieflines. Some of the images I use for navigation buttons and banners are, in fact, images of Mario's brieflines.

Sadly, he was injured for the latter part of the 2007 season, so he didn't provide as many brieflines as healthier players, like Novak Djokovic. Hopefully he's healed up for the '08 season and continues to wear colored briefs and white shorts.

Still #1

I recently questioned why I maintain the brflines site and this blog after I received some communication criticizing it. Then I chatted with a really nice guy from Canada who reignited my interest in maintaining both. Thanks, Mike.

Anyway, the geocities site now has over seven hundred pictures (716 to be exact), about a hundred more then the last update on the site's content. Tommy Robredo still reigns supreme with ninety photos of his sweet brieflines. As evidenced by the picture above, you can see why Tommy reigns supreme! The other members of the top ten remain the same, with a little variance in the order. They are as follows

1. Tommy Robredo (90 photos)
2. Novak Djokovic (66 photos)
3. Richard Gasquet (58 photos)
4. Fernando Verdasco (40 photos)
5. Jarkko Nieminen (35 photos)
6. Frank Dancevic (28 photos)
7. Mario Ancic (23 photos)
8 tie. Lleyton Hewitt (22 photos)
8 tie. Andy Roddick (22 photos)
10. Marat Safin (19 photos)

Also, my weekly plug for the yahoo group. Join it already!

Juan Ignacio Chela

A page was added to the brflines site for Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina.

I don't know a lot about senor Chela, but I remember watching a special on a female tennis player on the Tennis Channel and Juan Ignacio worked out at the same gym as her. I remember thinking about how thin he was and how he would be able to play with more built players like Ginepri.

Three pics are on the page, one of which is attached to this post. Enjoy!

Dmitry Tursunov

Four photos of Dmitry Tursunov were added to the brflines site this morning. I hope you guys enjoy them!

Paradorn Srichaphan

I added a page for Paradorn Srichaphan to my brflines site this morning. I only have the one picture I attached above published, though I know there are many, many briefline photos of him floating around. I even have some in my email account, but haven't had time to sort through the messages to download the photos.

The addition of Paradorn is significant because he is the first player from Asia that I've added to the page. Most of the players are from Europe, North America, or Australia. I'd like to post more players from regions that are under-represented on the site.

Anyway, that's it for now. Enjoy guys!

Jarkko Nieminen

Hey boys. Today's update is to the Jarkko Nieminen page on the brflines site. I added five pictures to it. If you are a member of the y! group, you should have already received these, since my updates are about a month behind my postings in the y! group.

Jarkko is one of my favorite players on the tour. He's blonde and beautiful. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy.

Index Photo Updates

It seems like the ATP commissioned a bunch of new profile pictures for its website. So, accordingly I've updated the geocities site with some of the new pictures.

Some of the pictures are much improved, like the one of Andy Roddick above. The one on the right seems much more natural and his smile less forced.

Anyway, look forward to some new Nieminen brieflines tomorrow.

Michael Owen

I thought I'd use this lovely photo of english footballer, Michael Owen to make my weekly plug for the yahoo group. Here are three reasons why you need to join:

1. I usually use the weekends to find most of the new pics that will end up on the geocities site. I also find non-tennis pics (like the one above) that I also send out and that will not end up on the geocities site. If you want to receive pics like this by email, you'll have to join the yahoo group.

2. There's about a month lag between when I send pics out via the group and when they end up posted on the site. So if you absolutely need to see the latest and greatest pic of let's say, a
Jarkko Nieminen briefline, you'll get those as I find them via the yahoo group.

3. All tennis pictures that end up on the geocities site are sent via the yahoo group. You get all the pictures and don't have to deal with the data transfer limitation.

So go ahead and
join up already!

Carlos Berlocq

Carlos Berlocq of Argentina has been added to the brflines site. The only picture I have of him is attached above.

Next blog entry will be Monday....

Brflines Updates

I made a couple of small modifications to the brflines site over the past couple of days, some noticeable, some not.

The most noticeable change is the background. Green squares are out and blue stripes are in. I hope you like that. It makes it easier for me to align the html elements with the stripes and I think it gives it a more masculine look.

On the index page, I also provide a more comprehensive list of planned updates. This list will now include photo updates to existing pages where it previously only provided a list of players that will be added to the site.

I hope these are positive changes for those of you who visit and enjoy the site.

Max Mirnyi

Max Mirnyi's page was updated today. I added three pictures of the tall, lanky, hunky tennis player from Byelorus's page on my brflines site.

I know I have a nice video of his brieflines that I keep meaning to pare down into a video clip. When I do finally create the clip and upload it to a free server, I'll post it in the yahoo group. Please make sure that you visit and join the
yahoo group to get access to all kinds of briefline pics as well as updates from me that I don't make here or to my geocities page.

Going Global 2

I use statcounter to track some basic statistics on this blog. I’m just super curious to see where all the traffic is being driven from and to see from time to time how the numbers ebb and flow based on variables like day of the week and whether I make an update to the geocities site or not.

One of the most interesting things that stat counter does is tell me which country a user is from. Don't worry, I'm not a cyber stalker--I can’t drill down any lower than the country level, but it’s fun to see that brieflines are appreciated the world over.

Since my last post on the subject, several other countries have joined the list of visitors to my blog including:

-Latvia
-Saudi Arabia
-Bosnia
-Belgium
-Taiwan
-China
-New Zealand
-Columbia
-Finland
-Ireland
-Slovakia

The map above shows the geographic location of my last seventy visitors or so.

Martin Klizan

Hey boys, I'm back!

I updated the brflines site today with a page for Martin Klizan. The only line pic I have of the 18 year old is attached to this post.

Please make sure to visit the yahoo brieflines group if you would like to get these kinds of pics and more. The link is on the right.

Happy New Year!

David Beckham

I'm still on vacation so I'm not updating the brflines website. But I'm still sending pictures to the brieflines yahoo group (link to the left)! The one attached to this post is one of three that were sent to the group.

Remember to click the link and join the group to get brfline photos that don't make it to my website.

Best wishes for a happy new year!

Check It Out!

Hey boys, I'm back from vacation! Even though I haven't made any new content updates to my brflines site, I am still posting new pictures on the yahoo brieflines group.

I do like to collect any kind of line pics, but the website I maintain only covers tennis brieflines for now. So, if you want hot pics like the one above, you need to check out the group!

Happy Holidays!

Tommy Robredo

I LOVE Tommy Robredo. There I said it...:)

I like him so much more than any other player currently on the ATP. I don't know what it is, maybe the beautiful eyes or the bangin' ass :0P. Obviously, I have truly made an effort to find every breifline photo of him available on the net.

Today, I posted ten more (nos. 81 to 90) on my main brflines site. One of the pictures included in the BIG ROBREDO UPDATE is attached to this post.

Other than that, I'm off for the holidays. Updates will be more sporadic. Enjoy!

Rainer Schuettler

Rainer Schuttler of Germany was added today to the main brflines website. Three pictures of him are included in his debut. One of the pictures is very nice, but non-brieflines related. I thought I'd throw it in as a special holiday treat to you all.

One of the briefline-related pictures that debuted with his page is attached to this post.

Olivier Rochus

Two pictures of Olivier Rochus (Belgium) were added today on the brflines website. Sorry about the traffic limitations. I host all of the pictures on another site as to minimize the amount of file space I have on the brflines site, but it still freezes up on occasion. I'm in the process of retreiving all my picture urls as a backup and to potentially move them to another free site. If you have any suggestions for the latter, please let me know.

Anyway, enjoy the update boys.

Monday, December 17, 2007

Lukasz Kubot

Lukas Kubot of Poland was added to the brflines site today. The only picture of him that I have is attached to this post.

In the near future, you'll be seeing Carlos Barlocq, Juan Ignacio Chela, Andy Murray, Paradorn Srichiphan, and Ranier Schuettler added to brflines.

As the holidays approach, I'm not going to be making new posts every day as usual. I'll be doing some travelling, but the site will be posted as much as I am able to until the beginning of the next year when I am back on a regular schedule.

Happy Holidays!

Tommy Haas

Tommy Haas was the picture update on brflines today. He's from Germany and he's grreatt! Attached is one of two photos that were added to his page this evening.

Enjoy the updates guys :0)

Michal Mertinak

Michal Mertinak is the player update to the brflines website today. I also changed the main picture from the cosmo uk pic of Tommy Robredo to one I had of another Spaniard, Alex Corretja.

I don't know too much about Mertinak, but I'm fairly certain he's the first Slovakian on the brflines site.

Enjoy!

Fernando Verdasco

Good morning!

The brflines website, specifically the page for Fernando Verdasco, underwent a big update with an addition of twenty pictures! I think that is the most pictures I've ever added to one page at one time. One of the pictures included in the update is attached to this post (above).

Fernando has a rabid following, which is good for me because they all take pictures :). Anyway, enjoy the update, boys and girls.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007

Fabio Fognini

Fabio Fognini was added to the brflines site this morning.

Like many of the players that I'm adding to the site, I know nothing about him. Since I've pretty much added all of the elite players (Roddick, Federer, Djokovic) to the site, any new player addition will probably be an up-and-coming player like Fognini.

His page has four pictures on it, one of which is attached to this post. Enjoy!

Notoriety

Well the secret's out! Thanks to other blogs (especially gay+mens+underwear blog), viewership on my main site and on this blog have taken off! The graph above are page loads for this blog for the last fourteen days.

Even the girls are starting to look as evidenced by a post at tennis world. I can't discern yet whether this is a good thing or bad--the comments are pretty neutrel.

One of the funniest referring pages is in Japanese (link). I tried to run a translation through babelfish, but it still didn't makes sense. So if anyone can read Japanese, let me know what it says!

Peace!

Allez Richard!

Hey boys, there's been a HUGE update to the Richard Gasquet page on the brflines site. I added eighteen (!) pictures to his page. One of the pictures included in the update has been attached to this blog entry.

Richie is a huge favorite in the Y! brieflines group page and it's not hard to see why. His butt is perfect! :oP

Enjoy!

Almost Famous

Erwin Ong, editor of Tennis Served Fresh, wrote me this past week to let me know that he mentioned the brflines site on his blog! Woot!

If you want to check out the entry, click here.

Break in Updates

Hey boys.

I'm going to be at a conference today and tomorrow. Accordingly, there are no planned updates to the brflines site until Monday, unless I have extra time over the weekend.

I've attached a picture of Jarkko Nieminen to this post that got a great reaction when I sent it out to the membership of the Y! Brieflines group.

Have a nice, safe weekend everyone. :)

Juan Monaco

Juan Monaco of Argentina was added to the brflines site this morning. This is one of four pictures that are up with the new page for him.

Enjoy the update boys!

Going Global!

I just checked the stats for the blog at statcounter.com...brflines has gone global!

By far, the most visits from a single country was from the US. I very much expected this since my blog is in English and the blog host is American (I think...). I was very surprised though to see how many other visitors were from outside the US. Wow! Who would have thought? I've attached a map from statcounter which indicates where the most recent visitors who surfed this blog were from.

If you can't make out where the little bubbles are pointing to, here's a text list:

  • Denmark
  • The Netherlands
  • The United Kingdom
  • Canada
  • Singapore
  • Spain
  • Australia
  • Poland
  • Turkey
  • Switzerland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Malasia
  • Cyprus
  • Georgia
  • Japan
  • Brazil
  • Thailand
  • The Philippines
  • Portugal
  • Argentina

Novak Djokovic

Holy Nole!

A mega-update of thirteen (!) pictures was added to Novak Djokovic's page on my main site. His page now has sixty-six pictures on it. Most of the pictures from today's update were taken at the Roger's Cup in Montreal. One of the pics from the update is attached to this post.

I love Novak Djokovic (or Nole as fans call him). He has a fun-loving personality and is beautiful to look at. He also loves to wear white shorts which, and as an avid line-lover, I love because white shorts + sweat=brief lines. :)

Enjoy the update!

Gaston Gaudio

Gaston Gaudio was added to my main brieflines site today. He won the French Open a couple of years ago. He's part of a group of very successful Argentine players including David Nalbandian and Juan Ignacio Chela.

I hope you enjoy this update! Later!

Other Lines

I don't usually update my main site on the weekends. This weekend is no different.

I do spend the weekends looking for pictures to add to my site. However, with the tennis season coming to an end, they will be harder and harder to find at least until the Australian Open begins.

I did find some super hot briefline pics of some decathletes. I emailed them to the Brieflines Y!Group. These won't make it to my site so if you want to see what you missed (I've attached one of the ones I sent to the group), join up!
