Doing a Jarkko Nieminen update is like greeting a long lost friend again.

Jarkko was one of my first tennis crushes and though he got injured and fell off the radar, I'm hoping that he'll make a splash on the tour next year (and sport those white shorts and briefs).

It's been way too long to go without a Jarkko Nieminen update.

He's been off the tour for a while, and I haven't seen anything that indicates why. I'm assuming he's injured, which is surprising because Jarkko usually takes good care of himself and is sort of a fixture on the tour.

Well I hope he's back in the swing soon. He missed Wimbledon, so nothing from him there. It may be a bad year for Jarkko pics. So sad :((((

So, this may be our fix for the year. I added five pics of him to the brflines site this morning, one of which is attached to this blogpost.

Good morning, guys. I made an update to the brflines site this morning.

Three new pictures were added to the Jarkko Nieminen page today.

Is anyone out there watching the master's tournament in Shanghai? I was sort of upset that neither Tommy Robredo or some of my other favorites like Jarkko or Mario didn't make it. But I am watching some of the matches.

I caught the Nestor/Zimonjic vs. Fyrstenburg and the other polish guy last night. Dan Nestor and Zimonjic were wearing briefs under their white shorts...so hot! I hope more pictures are published from the event soon. :)

Good morning, fellas. Today's update to the brflines site is Jarkko Nieminen of Finland.

It's a pretty big update, eleven new pics added, going back all the way to the Pac Life Open earlier in the year. I also made corrections to pics 15 and 16 (i think) that weren't loading when you browsed to the page.

Anyone who's read the blog knows that I'm a huge Jarkko fan, so I always make a special effort to find pics of him when I'm surfing the net for briefline photos. I guess that's why there's so many pictures of him, the volume of which is pretty disproportionate to his ATP ranking.

On another note, there was/is a chat thread in the Y! group about the championship game. I may download from the Wimby site and upload it somewhere else. Let me know if that's something you'd like me to do since it takes a lot of time to download and then manipulate it so that it's accessible to everyone.

Hey guys. I added ten (10) new (or new to this blog) photos of Jarkko Nieminen to his page on the brflines website. One of the ten added photos is attached to this blog entry.

Yum. Yum. Jarkko is so smokin' hot.

Unfortunately, I forgot the jump drive I use to store all of my pics, googlepage code, and excel spreadsheets that help me to manage the various sites this weekend. So, I didn't get to work on the sidelines part of the website at all.

Anyway, I'll endeavor to fast track the effort so that I can put something up in the next couple of weeks or so.

Jarkko is one of my favorite players on the tour. He's blonde and beautiful. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy.

Break in Updates

Hey boys.

I'm going to be at a conference today and tomorrow. Accordingly, there are no planned updates to the brflines site until Monday, unless I have extra time over the weekend.

I've attached a picture of Jarkko Nieminen to this post that got a great reaction when I sent it out to the membership of the Y! Brieflines group.

Jarkko Nieminen (blog only update)

Today's update is only going up on the blog (as opposed to my main site). It is a short clip I made from a match between Jarkko Nieminen (one of my faves) and Roger Federer in Halle earlier this year.

I'm only adding it to my blog because I had issues with uploading it to my rapidshare account. Once I've resolved those issues, the link on Jarkko's page to his rapidshare folder will include this clip as well.
